APPEARANCE
Standing at 30 feet tall Solaris makes an imposing sight to the battlefield with his heavily armoured hide. His wing span reaching 216 feet long allows him to move through the air with some skill and agility despite his bulk. His optics are a deep blue colour while holding almost feral fury during combat his eyes can also reveal his intelligence when not engaged in battle. His armour is thick but also bulky, giving him an imposing form with the black colour and deep blue streaks that spiral around his body. However he does tend to move slower then some of other Cybertronians as well as Predacons. His legs stand digitigrade with three ‘toes’ on each paw. Each ‘toe’ is more like an extended claw and each are the same night black as the rest of him. He always stands as though he is expecting an attack. On his head are several metallic points pointing back towards the back of his ‘skull’ which give him the appearance of having horns.
Once transformed he maintains his black and blue streak colours along with the thick, heavy plating. It gives him the appearance of being heavy set while he isn’t the fastest he is able to hit with some force. His optics are the same deep blue colour as his normal mode and even in robot mode the ‘horns’ from his normal mode still frame his head. The fingers of his hands are more like claws, ending in sharp points. His wings form into additional armour around his chest and his back, seeming to have merged into his armour.

PERSONALITY
There is a duality about Solaris, depending on the situation you meet him you’ll see a different version. During combat he becomes almost overwhelmed with bloodlust, using his heavy armour to absorb attacks while closing on his enemy. His eyes show very clearly the barely controlled rage being unleashed within him. Often he will not stop until either he is offline or his enemy is torn to shreds.
However outside of combat he tends to act more calm and collected, his eyes showing a cool intelligence. He is capable of almost scientist level thought which is reflected in where he lives. He also will be civil with anyone who doesn’t try to attack him first. However threaten or attack him and his mind seems to revert to his ‘battle intelligence’. He can be a bit egotistical, he is well aware of his strength and is proud of it and will not hesitate to show someone just how proud he is. He is also very loyal to those he trusts or likes, that loyalty even reveals when in combat when he will defend them and won’t attack them…usually.

PARAPHERNALIA
Weaponry: Like all other Predacons he is able to breathe fire as well as use tooth and claw to attack, scratch or rend his enemies. He is able to use his tail to knock enemies around.
Strengths: Physically he is very strong and tough, being dragon-like helps too. Outside of combat he is very intelligent, possibly to the point of being able to use most technology.
Weaknesses: Can be a bit too overconfident and has a tendency to charge into harms way regardless of whether or not he can withstand it. In battle he is close to being feral so can be outsmarted as well as not knowing when to retreat or backdown. His pride can lead to him being considered ‘rude’ as he says what he likes.

HISTORY
Like all other Predacons, Solaris was created along with all the other current Predacons by Shockwave. However unlike others there was an error in the cloning process, the genome used for him was slightly degraded from being left dormant for so long.
The result was his mind was almost split between two people. Outside of battle he is very calm, collected and intelligent. In combat he almost becomes feral and extremely aggressive, often fighting until he goes offline or until he’s torn his enemy apart.
When Predaking broke all the other Predacons he made his escape, though instead of sticking together he decided to find his own way. This was in part because he know he could be very dangerous when angered or in combat.
He didn’t care about the war of the Cybertronians, it wasn’t his problem. Instead he found somewhere out of the way on the planet, making a home in one of the many caves. However this new world is something he wishes to see more of…
